The  size, color and shape of the pear varies according to its variety . There are soft and hard pears, some varieties have the rounded shape and others are thin and elongated

• Bosc- Sweet flavor and a creamy and crunchy texture when tender. They are also very juicy
• Comice- Its flavor is sweet and juicy with a smooth texture. Its flesh is white and sometimes with a pink tinge.
